About
DuelReflex is a battery of six reaction tests. Each one puts the same underlying question — how quickly can you turn seeing into doing — into a different situation: a racing start, a gunslinger stand-off, an animal strike, a colour-word conflict, a target you must not shoot, a ball you can no longer see.
Why not just one number
The classic reaction test gives you a single average in milliseconds. That number is real, but it hides almost everything interesting. Two people can average the same and be nothing alike: one is quick and undisciplined, the other slower and impossible to fool. One reads movement well, the other has a good model of where things are going.
So the six tests are scored across four axes — Speed, Control, Choice and Prediction — and the shape of those four, not the height of any one of them, decides your Reflex Type.
Honesty about the numbers
Browser-based timing has real limits, and pretending otherwise would make every result here worthless. We describe exactly what is measured, what cannot be, and which results are discarded on the methodology page. Short version: treat these as comparisons under the same conditions, not as laboratory measurements.

Who makes it
DuelReflex is an independent project, built and run by one person. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any motorsport series, team, or governing body; the racing start test uses the generic five-light mechanism and nothing more. To get in touch, see the contact page.
