This page describes what DuelReflex does today. It is written to match the code, not to cover hypothetical future features. If that changes, this page changes with it.
There are no accounts
You cannot sign up and we never ask for a name, an email address or any other identifier. There is nothing to log in to.
What is stored on your device
Your results are kept in your browser's local storage, on your machine. That includes your best and average times per test and a random string used to tell one browsing session apart from another. The random string is not derived from anything about you and cannot be traced back to you.
Clearing your browser storage for this site deletes all of it permanently. We have no copy.
Cookies
DuelReflex sets no cookies. Local storage is not a cookie and is not sent with network requests.
Third-party analytics
There are none. No Google Analytics, no tag managers, no session recording, no third-party scripts of any kind.
Advertising
There is currently no advertising on this site. If display advertising is introduced later, this page will be updated before any ad code is served, and it will name the ad network and describe what it collects.
Results sent to our server
Aggregate statistics are what make percentile comparisons possible, so completed results may be submitted to build that distribution. When that happens, a submitted result contains only:
- which test it was;
- the score, in milliseconds, and accuracy where relevant;
- the input class used (touch, mouse, pen or keyboard);
- a coarse country code derived from the connection;
- the time of submission.
No identifier accompanies it. Submitted results cannot be linked back to a person, to a device, or to each other.
Challenge links
A challenge link contains the settings needed to reproduce an identical run, and a shared result link contains your four axis scores. Both are readable by anyone who has the link — that is the point of them. Neither contains anything about you beyond those scores. Only share them if you want those numbers seen.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (including IP addresses) for operational and abuse-prevention purposes as part of providing the hosting service. We do not use those logs to build profiles.
Children
DuelReflex is not directed at children and is not designed or marketed for them.
Your rights
Because nothing stored is tied to an identity, there is no account to access, export or delete. Data held on your device is under your control through your browser's settings. If you have a question about any of this, see the contact page.
